CREW

Tim Ferrin Tim Ferrin - Tim Ferrin, co-director of All This Murky Green, is best known for writing angry, pseudonymous letters to C-list celebrities. While attending the University of Iowa, Ferrin helped run daily operations at Trailer Records under Midwest roots-rock master David Zollo. Mercifully, Ferrin was not allowed to make any music. As founder of The Iowa Time Travel Society, Ferrin has occasionally found time to make films (including Four Score and Seven Beers Ago, starring Abraham Lincoln). He currently works at WTTW-11 in Chicago on the PBS national productions “Soundstage” and “Legends of Jazz".

Ryan Wolff Ryan Wolff - After years of repressed anger and frustration, Ryan Wolff, co-director of All This Murky Green, broke free of the prison of his own design and went on to co-direct every Harmony Joyride production to date, as well as animate and compose music for the stunning and beautifully tragic claymation, Purple Predicament. Although prone to forgetting where he put things and recording over footage, Ryan feels his directorial skills will outshine his shortcomings and looks forward to the highly anticipated (and hopefully lucrative) release of All this Murky Green in the spring of 2005.

Justin Peters Justin Peters - Formerly seen thrilling cabaret audiences in Manhattan with his Soul Asylum cover band "I Speak To Robots," producer/screenwriter Justin Peters makes his big-screen debut with the quirky script for All This Murky Green. He has written two stage plays: Tickets Non-Refundable and Torpedo Pop, and is currently at work on a history of font faces. He would like to invite all people who share the same name as him to contact him so that they can be part of his upcoming conceptual art project: "10,000 Justin Peters' Can't Be Wrong."

David Wolff David Wolff - Assistant director David Wolff has always wanted to get into the adult film industry. But porn is a tough nut to crack, so he figured that signing on to his brother's project was the next best thing. Whether getting people to sign releases or marking timecode into a binder, David discharged his duties with admirable aplomb. He hopes that his big-time credit on All This Murky Green will open doors for him in the glamorous world of money shots and muff diving.

Jesse Linx Jesse Linx - Playground legend and casting director Jesse J. Linx attended Cutter McGee's Public Relations Academy in Panama City Beach, Florida, alongside his brother, James. After graduation, they founded Linx Brothers Public Relations, where Jesse represented such clients as Dirk Keysser the Human Chicken, the Harlem Mathtrotters, and Hugh Downs. After an acrimonious contract dispute, Jesse left the PR field to pursue a new career in soap. When that didn't work out, he returned to his third love: film casting. All This Murky Green marks his first major production. Health permitting, he'll be around for many more to come.

Joe Winter Joe Winter - A recent graduate from the University of Iowa, production designer Joe Winter is best known for his offbeat non fiction and video montage work including No Wheels 'Cause the Man, Classic Notion's of a Man's Man, and Fetishes: Iowa City Style. He aims to make the audience think, then reflect a while, then have to use the bathroom, and finally to think a little while longer as to why the previous thinking and reflecting made them have to use the bathroom in the first place.

Gerald Palmer Gerald Palmer - Property master Gerald Palmer is a long-time fixture on the Chicago props scene. With a smile on his face and a song in his heart, he brought a delightful joie de vivre to a generally dour, unpleasant set, day in and day out. When not working on various film sets and stage crews in the greater Chicago area, he can be found at local open mics and Do-It-Yourself-Messiahs, as he sings like a sweet, sweet bird. He would like to thank Salazar, The Turk, and Johnny Feets for getting him started in the wonderfrul world of props.
